CoConstruct - Empowering Growth Through Webflow
Client: CoConstruct
Industry: SaaS, Construction Management Software
Role: Marketing Web Developer
Tools: Webflow, Figma, Node.js, Zendesk API
Year: 2019 - 2020
Challenge: Outgrowing WordPress
When I joined CoConstruct in 2019, the marketing team was small but expanding quickly, with the company’s growth demanding a more dynamic digital platform. The existing WordPress site was no longer able to meet the demands of the rapidly growing team and product. CoConstruct needed a scalable, user-friendly CMS that could provide both flexibility and seamless integration with various tools.
As part of the marketing team, I was tasked with transitioning the marketing site to a more powerful platform—Webflow. This decision was based on Webflow’s ability to deliver an enhanced user experience, offer robust CMS capabilities, and improve both site speed and SEO performance. The ultimate goal was to future-proof the site while improving lead generation and conversion rates.
Solution: Webflow Platform & Design System Overhaul
Webflow Migration & Design Optimization
I led the transition from WordPress to Webflow, carefully designing a mobile-first, responsive marketing site that would scale with the company's rapid growth. This migration was designed to address CoConstruct’s needs for improved speed, performance, and control over content management.
The new platform integrated seamlessly into the team's workflow, offering a simple, streamlined user interface that empowered both marketers and developers to manage content and launch campaigns quickly.
Figma Component Library & Style Guidelines
In tandem with the Webflow migration, I built a comprehensive Figma component library that ensured consistency across all new and existing pages. This library, alongside detailed style guidelines, enabled the marketing team to create high-quality, branded pages more efficiently.
Component Library: Reusable components reduced design and development time, allowing for faster deployment of new pages and features.
Brand Guidelines: Developed clear templates and design prototypes that aligned with the company’s evolving brand identity, enabling all team members to contribute to the creative process.
Zendesk Integration for Knowledge Base Sync
To enhance customer experience and visibility, I integrated Zendesk with Webflow to incorporate CoConstruct’s extensive knowledge base directly into the marketing site. Using NodeJS scripts, we successfully synchronized over 480 help desk articles into the Webflow CMS, streamlining access to helpful content and improving on-page SEO for relevant search queries.
Result: Scalable Website Driving Growth and Conversion
As the marketing team’s efforts began to yield results, the website's scope expanded dramatically, growing from 20 pages to over 800 in just a year. I worked on creating high-conversion landing pages, optimized content hubs, and custom templates that helped the company scale its digital presence.
Key Results:
800-Page Site: The site grew to a highly scalable 800-page CMS, which supported CoConstruct’s expanding marketing needs.
Improved SEO & Traffic: Integrating Zendesk content improved search visibility, which contributed to increased organic traffic and lead generation.
Increased Efficiency: The Figma component library and templated approach streamlined the content creation process, enabling the team to launch pages and features more quickly.
Higher Conversions: The focus on responsive, high-conversion landing pages, combined with a robust resource center and a seamless user experience, helped drive higher engagement and more qualified leads.
Enhanced Resource Center & Custom Search Features
One of the core projects was the creation of a Resource Center, a centralized location for all blog posts, case studies, webinars, and product resources.
This feature was built with search and filtering capabilities, allowing users to easily find the content that mattered most to them. The integration of a custom search engine and category-based content filtering further enhanced user experience and content discoverability.
Conclusion: A Future-Proof Digital Platform for CoConstruct
The migration from WordPress to Webflow not only helped CoConstruct solve immediate technical challenges but also positioned the company for long-term digital growth. By streamlining content management, improving site speed and SEO, and implementing custom integrations, the new marketing platform empowered the team to work more efficiently and scale with ease.
This project demonstrated how Webflow’s flexibility and integration capabilities can be leveraged to create a scalable, user-focused digital experience. Through collaboration and a focus on performance, CoConstruct’s marketing site became a powerful tool for lead generation, customer engagement, and brand growth.
